The manufacture of products that use magnetic fields for their function requires a special production environment. One customer, a manufacturer of magnetic measuring solutions and magnetic heads, relies on the ferrite- and thus Magnetic field-free motor of PTM mechatronics.

The technology of its magnetic measuring solutions and magnetic heads is based on magnetic fields. Its products are used to perform various measuring tasks using magnetic measuring heads and associated linear or rotary scales. Its magnetic heads are used to write or read tickets, credit cards and other writable products.

The manufacture of its products requires an otherwise magnetic field-free environment. This means that all devices used for production must not generate any magnetic fields of their own accord. Furthermore, they themselves must not be disturbed or magnetized by an external magnetic field. Otherwise, these devices would interfere with the magnetic fields of its products or would themselves be restricted in their function.

Our customer now uses our ferrite-free and therefore magnetic field-free motors for its special machinery, such as conveyor belts. Their purely mechanical design, their simple mode of operation without interfering sensors or electronics and, above all, the absence of ferrous and therefore magnetic components ensure that our motors can be used in his production without any problems. He also benefits from the extremely energy-efficient and therefore cost-effective drive technology based on the Radial piston principle.
