Compressed air consumption in comparison
With many vane motor agitators, technical specifications often only mention performance data such as kilowatts and speed. The actual air consumption is often not mentioned - or is only stated at low speeds, which are rarely sufficient in practical mixing applications.
As vane motors hardly generate any torque, high speeds are usually required in the application in order to achieve a satisfactory stirring result. In practice, this leads to significantly higher air consumption than expected.
Our efficiency test shows transparently in three scenarios (stirring in a 30 l hobbock, 200 l drum and 1,000 IBC) how air consumption and performance behave under real conditions - for well-founded decisions and maximum energy efficiency.
