PTM air motors are suitable for a wide range of applications thanks to their very robust, purely mechanical design and their power. They can generally be used as drives in systems and machines or to generate rotary and swivel movements. PTM air motors are based on the extremely efficient radial piston principle: despite low air consumption, the motors develop a very high degree of efficiency and a very high torque. This makes them the modern, cost-saving alternative to vane motors. They can be operated in both clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation and can be loaded to a standstill. Thanks to their compact size, they can be integrated into almost any application. The INOX model also has complete explosion protection for ATEX zones 1, 2, 21 and 22, food and pharmaceutical conformity, clean room class ISO1 in accordance with DIN 14644 and is watertight in accordance with protection class IP68 as well as being resistant to acids and chemicals.
