An era comes to an end

For over 40 years, we have been a manufacturer and reliable partner for precise, high-tech gripping systems. A lot has happened during this time. PTM mechatronics has developed in the field of Drive technology ever further. In 2017, we developed our drive technology into our Stirring technology and now offer agitators for 20-liter hobbocks up to 1,200-liter IBC containers for food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, chemicals and automation in addition to our powerful motors. In a short space of time, we have been able to establish our current leading position on the market.

Such successes inevitably lead to restructuring of the entire business process. We have therefore decided to focus PTM mechatronics entirely on our drive and agitator technology and, with a heavy heart, to give up our gripper technology.

However, we are pleased to have found a new, reliable partner for our robot automation customers who has taken over our gripping technology. The Effecto Group based in San Maurizio d'Opaglio, located in beautiful Italy northwest of Milan, has been a specialist in the field of automation technology for many decades. Our grippers enhance the Effecto Group's already sophisticated gripping technology.

We are now continuing to focus all our efforts on our powerful and efficient drive and agitator technology, which will enable us to get even more things moving in the future.
