Timer - safe processes and efficiency

Timers are excellent helpers when it comes to making stirring processes safe, reproducible and effective.

Security

It sounds logical that a medium must be stirred for a sufficiently long time in order to achieve the correct mixing or the required state of aggregation, for example, depending on the stirring task. However, it is also very easy to overdo it. Many substances react to „over-stirring“ by changing their viscosity. They become more fluid. This is due to the shear forces acting during stirring, pumping or mixing. The technical term for this is the Thixotropy.

It is therefore important to know which medium falls into this group on the one hand and, on the other, how it may be stirred as a result. And now, of course, the process must be set up accordingly. A timer helps you here. You can easily set how long the medium should be stirred. The agitator switches off reliably once the time has elapsed. There is no longer any risk of forgetting to switch it off in time.

Reproducibility

Do you attach great importance to consistent stirring results in your production? Here too, a timer helps you to make your process calculable and reproducible. Once you have determined the optimum stirring time for your stirred product, you can repeat the process continuously. You get consistent batches and guarantee the same quality every time.

Efficiency

A timer not only makes your mixing process safe and reproducible, but also efficient. The timer saves you having to look at the clock and the presence of a skilled worker to monitor the process. Be reminded by a signal when the time has elapsed. No downtime, no idling. The system is made even more intelligent by a central control system into which the timer is integrated.
