
„FORobotics - mobile, ad-hoc cooperating robot teams“ is a research association with partners from science and industry with a duration of three years. The project pursues the innovative approach of combining the capabilities of different robots into teams in order to achieve an increase in productivity. To achieve its goals, the alliance is developing innovative technical solutions and methods to enable the formation of cooperating robot teams consisting of several robot systems or robots and humans in production.
PTM's contribution is the further development of flexible gripping on robots through intelligent electric gripping systems and functionally safe solutions for the collaborative sector. To this end, we provide assemblies of our intelligent electric grippers and our many years of expertise in the field of intelligent gripping.
The project is funded by the Bavarian Research Foundation with a volume of €2 million. 20 industrial partners and 8 scientific partners are involved.
