Heat transfer is about keeping the temperature of the medium constant, increasing or decreasing it during a stirring process. Tanks specially designed for temperature control are used. As heat transfer via the tank wall is often not sufficient, additional heat exchange elements, such as stirring coils, heating or cooling candles and other special designs, must be installed in the agitator tank. The agitator itself and the structure must also be designed to suit the heat transfer process and be able to withstand the temperatures.

Agitators for heat transfer are therefore often custom-made to meet the individual requirements of the mix and to achieve the optimum result. PTM agitators can be designed for temperatures up to 300°C. On request, we can also design and build your complete system with coordinated components.
