2K stirring and dosing system - accurate to the gram

Two-component systems (2K systems) perform a crucial task in industrial production: the precise mixing of two reactive components that harden on contact with each other - comparable to a two-component adhesive in the trade, in which two substances are only mixed when they emerge. Our systems transfer this principle to industrial standards - automated, safe and highly precise.

We have developed a customized, modular 2K stirring and dosing system for a current customer project. The system is based on our tried-and-tested PTM components and is specially designed for the automated processing of highly viscous materials.

At the heart of the system are two powerful stand mixers - each for one of the two components. The material is conveyed to the central dosing unit via two separate pumps. A practical, centrally positioned work table with integrated precision scales enables the mixture to be weighed exactly and other equipment to be conveniently set down.

The entire control system - from the agitators to the stands to the pumps - is operated from a central control panel. To avoid operating errors, this is designed according to the Poka Yoke principle labeled in two colors, color-coordinated with the respective components.

Two robust stainless steel drum trolleys with ESD rollers ensure ergonomic and safe handling. In addition, the system is already equipped with interfaces for the redundant supply of additional dosing systems - a future-proof system for demanding production environments.
