Skratka ATEX je odvoden\u00e1 od franc\u00fazskeho term\u00ednu pre potenci\u00e1lne v\u00fdbu\u0161n\u00e9 prostredie (Atmosph\u00e8res Explosibles). Predpisy ATEX s\u00fa stanoven\u00e9 v smernici E\u00da 2014\/34\/E\u00da, ktor\u00e1 je platn\u00e1 od roku 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Prostredie je ohrozen\u00e9 v\u00fdbuchom, ak sa v atmosf\u00e9re m\u00f4\u017ee vytvori\u0165 potenci\u00e1lne v\u00fdbu\u0161n\u00e1 zmes plynov. To je pr\u00edpad v\u0161ade tam, kde m\u00f4\u017eu unikn\u00fa\u0165 v\u00fdpary a pr\u00eds\u0165 do kontaktu s okolit\u00fdm vzduchom, napr\u00edklad pri v\u00fdrobe farieb, lakov, vonn\u00fdch l\u00e1tok a potrav\u00edn. Pr\u00edslu\u0161n\u00e9 inform\u00e1cie zah\u0155\u0148aj\u00fa napr\u00edklad teplotu, rozl\u00ed\u0161enie medzi plynom a prachom, medzi elektrick\u00fdmi a neelektrick\u00fdmi zariadeniami at\u010f. V\u00fdsledkom jednotliv\u00fdch \u010d\u00edsel a p\u00edsmen certifik\u00e1tu je k\u013e\u00fa\u010d, ktor\u00fd presne definuje povolen\u00e9 pracovn\u00e9 prostredie. Pre r\u00f4zne podmienky preto existuj\u00fa r\u00f4zne certifik\u00e1ty. Podrobn\u00e9 inform\u00e1cie o tom poskytuj\u00fa sk\u00fa\u0161obn\u00e9 \u00fastavy, napr\u00edklad T\u00dcV S\u00fcd. Tieto organiz\u00e1cie testuj\u00fa syst\u00e9my z h\u013eadiska ich ochrany proti v\u00fdbuchu a vyd\u00e1vaj\u00fa pr\u00edslu\u0161n\u00e9 certifik\u00e1ty ATEX.<\/p>\n<p>Dokonca aj v pr\u00edpade kombin\u00e1cie r\u00f4znych komponentov, ktor\u00e9 s\u00fa u\u017e jednotlivo certifikovan\u00e9 pod\u013ea ATEX, mus\u00ed by\u0165 cel\u00fd pr\u00edstroj znovu certifikovan\u00fd.
