Cela comprend aussi bien la protection contre les corps solides que les liquides. IP signifie International Protection (protection internationale), ou encore Ingress Protection (protection contre l'intrusion) - les indications varient \u00e0 ce niveau. Le code num\u00e9rique se compose de deux chiffres. Le premier chiffre d\u00e9crit la taille des particules solides qui peuvent p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans l'appareil. Il va de 0 (pas de protection ou non test\u00e9) \u00e0 6 (prot\u00e9g\u00e9 contre la poussi\u00e8re). Les diff\u00e9rents niveaux sont diff\u00e9renci\u00e9s en fonction du diam\u00e8tre des particules.<\/p>\n<p>Le deuxi\u00e8me chiffre correspond \u00e0 la protection contre l'eau. Il d\u00e9crit donc le degr\u00e9 d'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 du bo\u00eetier de l'appareil. L'\u00e9chelle va de 0 (pas de protection ou non test\u00e9) \u00e0 8 (\u00e9tanche et adapt\u00e9 \u00e0 une utilisation continue sous l'eau). Dans un compl\u00e9ment, la CEI a \u00e9galement ajout\u00e9 la classe 9 (protection contre un jet d'eau puissant et chaud).<\/p>\n<p>Dans certaines applications, il existe \u00e9galement une troisi\u00e8me cat\u00e9gorie. Celle-ci d\u00e9crit la protection contre les effets de la violence et est toutefois omise dans la plupart des cas.<\/p>\n<p>Des tests normalis\u00e9s permettent de classer les appareils dans les diff\u00e9rents niveaux. La directive a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablie par la Commission \u00e9lectrotechnique internationale, dont le si\u00e8ge est \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve (Suisse).<\/p>\n<p>En standard, tous les produits de PTM r\u00e9pondent \u00e0 la norme IP67. Ils sont donc \u00e9tanches \u00e0 la poussi\u00e8re et prot\u00e9g\u00e9s contre l'immersion temporaire.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row align-equal align-center
