Every accident in which a person is injured is one too many.<\/p>\n<p>Occupational safety is therefore always a top priority in the development of our products. Where can dangerous situations arise, where do machines pose a safety hazard? As a guide in the area of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ptm-mechatronics.com\/en\/produkte\/ruehrwerkstechnik\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stirring technology<\/a>\u00a0serve us here the \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/publikationen.dguv.de\/regelwerk\/publikationen-nach-fachbereich\/rohstoffe-und-chemische-industrie\/maschinen-der-chemischen-industrie\/3515\/fbrci-004-sicherheitsanforderungen-fu-r-stativ-und-haengeru-hrwerke\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Safety requirements for stand and suspended agitators<\/a>\u201c of the DGUV.<\/p>\n<p>The DGUV comments: \u201eThere is currently no European harmonized work equipment-specific standard for stand mixers and suspended mixers. A sensor ensures that the agitator only starts when the lid of the agitator rests on the agitator container. This automatically fixes the mixing bowl in place and prevents it from tipping horizontally. In addition, the surrounding rim on the lid helps to hold the container in place.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes the implementation of the above conditions leads to conflicts with the mixing task. For example, the container should remain open or the feed flap should not be closed by a grid.
