Hygiene in beverage production<\/h2>\n

Recently, one of the world's largest beverage manufacturers invited us to its production site to present our wide range of energy-efficient Agitator portfolio<\/a>, in particular our high-performance agitators. The task was to develop a suitable drive with a suitable flange solution for its special agitator vessels. The problem here was the limited space available on the lid of the mixing vessel. The large central opening had to remain free for filling the vessel. At the same time, the vessel still had to be stirred in the middle.<\/p>\n

In order to be able to develop the customer's customized solution precisely according to their requirements, quickly and easily, our customer delivered one of their special stirring vessels to our plant.<\/p>\n

The motor was planned, manufactured, assembled and installed on the customer's vessel in our in-house technical center. We installed the agitator next to the lid opening and positioned it at an angle so that the contents could still be stirred in the middle for optimum mixing. As hygiene is paramount in the food industry, a stainless steel solution was a matter of course - taking into account extreme hygiene requirements and a robust design, even when cleaning with aggressive substances. Robust food-safe seals and a special surface treatment of the motor housing to ensure easy and hygienic cleaning were also core features of the agitator. The special surface treatment, roller burnishing, is a PTM specialty and ensures incomparably perfect and particularly robust surfaces.<\/p>\n

Successful performance tests on the customer's vessel in our in-house test laboratory delivered optimum results. Following successful acceptance by the customer, the project was completed on schedule.<\/p>\n
