Several agitators in a simulated production environment provided ideal conditions for testing performance under real process requirements.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"850\">Equipped with a precise consumption measuring device, conventional vane motors were compared directly with PTM radial piston motors. The focus was on energy consumption and torque.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"1028\">The tests included operation at idle, under full load and at standstill. with a single movement.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"269\" data-end=\"307\">The test results at a glance:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"1123\">\n<li data-start=\"309\" data-end=\"476\">\n<p data-start=\"311\" data-end=\"476\">Over 90 % less energy consumption: On average, PTM radial piston motors not only reduce energy consumption, but also drastically cut operating costs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"477\" data-end=\"744\">\n<p data-start=\"479\" data-end=\"744\">Full load advantage: Under full load, the consumption of radial piston motors is halved again, while vane motors consume almost the same amount as when idling - this corresponds to up to 95 % more energy and costs with conventional technology.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"962\">\n<p data-start=\"747\" data-end=\"962\">Efficiency at standstill: Vane motors continue to draw considerable energy even at standstill, while radial piston motors reduce their consumption to a minimum here - a potential saving of up to 96 %.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1123\">\n<p data-start=\"965\" data-end=\"1123\">Maximum torque: Radial piston motors
