\"\"<\/a>The fat processing industry faces particular challenges when mixing or stirring its products. Fats are by nature highly viscous, i.e. very viscous media. Simple\u00a0Agitators<\/a>\u00a0are not sufficient due to insufficient torque and poor mixing results. Of course, this also applies to other industries that have to mix or stir viscous media, such as adhesives, glues, sealants or fillers. PTM mechatronics has therefore often been confronted with this problem.<\/p>\n

PTM mechatronics then developed an efficient agitator specifically for viscous media in its in-house technical center, initially at the request of a customer with 30 l containers. To ensure sufficient performance, our engineers used a large and powerful motor compared to the container size. The result was already good, but did not quite meet the high demands we place on meeting our customers' requirements. So instead of using one of our\u00a0Hollow body agitator blade eco-Disc<\/a>\u00a0two agitator blades mounted on top of each other and arranged in opposite directions to achieve a perfect mixing result. The challenge was to find exactly the right combination of motor power and number and size of agitator blades. After several tests, we found the perfect combination and can now offer interested customers a sophisticated and reliable product. It goes without saying that our agitators for viscous media are also ATEX-certified. Despite the high performance of our\u00a0Radial piston motor<\/a>\u00a0like all PTM products, it consumes extremely little compressed air and thus saves energy and costs.<\/p>\n
