The 75 motors stir paint in 200 liter drums in continuous operation. Naturally, he was concerned about profitability, energy consumption and costs with this volume. It quickly became clear that he needed to modernize his painting line. The technically outdated vane motors had to make way for more innovative and effective alternatives. He found a worthy replacement in the economical yet powerful radial piston motors from PTM mechatronics.<\/p>\n<p>In order to positively substantiate his decision, he decided to compare the radial piston motor with the vane motor. Despite already high expectations, the results surprised him. Our customer saved \u20ac221,791 in energy costs in the very first year. It stirs at relatively low speeds of approx. 100 rpm. Calculated at 300 rpm, that would be a saving of \u20ac596,025 per year. The costs of the changeover were fully amortized within four months. Of course, he has not regretted this decision.
