\"\"<\/a>A Czech spirits manufacturer entrusted PTM mechatronics GmbH with a particularly tricky task: stirring alcohol in a 20,000 liter container. In addition to the huge volume, there were two additional challenges. Firstly, the agitator was not to stir vertically in the container, as is usually the case in standard tasks, but horizontally at the bottom of the container. In addition, the agitator had to stir not just in one container but in several in succession. Naturally with a simple and quick changeover and, above all, without any significant loss of liquid. With a pressure of 20,000 liters on the agitator attached to the bottom of the tank, this is no easy task.<\/p>\n

PTM has now designed a custom-made agitator with a special adapter flange. A specially designed stopcock closes the opening of the container immediately after the agitator is removed. The agitator has now been successfully in use with this quick-change system at our satisfied customer for some time.<\/p>\n
