To do this, he uses oil heated to 230 degrees. He sends this through his production process via pipes. Our powerful\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ptm-mechatronics.com\/en\/themen\/grundlagen-guide\/radialkolbenmotor\/\">Radial piston motors<\/a>\u00a0are used to close the pipe system immediately in the event of leaks and prevent large quantities of oil from leaking and thus contaminating the environment. In addition, it closes large valves in its sewer system at the same time as our pneumatic radial piston motors to prevent oil from entering the sewer system.<\/p>\n<p>The advantages of our radial piston motors for such applications with liquids and humid environments are easy to list:<br \/>\nThe motors can be controlled easily and without electricity. They can be loaded to a standstill without the use of limit switches and controls. A simple changeover valve closes the pipe system as far as it will go and the motor stops. An electric motor would run hot here.<br \/>\nThanks to their purely mechanical design and their IP68 waterproof construction, they can withstand the weather and system-related damp environment without any problems.<br \/>\nFurthermore, the valve can also be closed manually as a redundant option.<\/p>\n<p>Before our customer modernized its safety system with our air motors, the employees had to close the 50 cm diameter pipes by hand. This took far too long, up to 3 minutes in an emergency. Today, our IP68 waterproof motors perform this task within a maximum of 45 seconds, even outdoors.
