\"\"<\/a>ATEX<\/a> is a certificate for devices and machines that permits their use in a potentially explosive environment.<\/p>\n

An environment is at risk of explosion if a potentially explosive gas mixture can form in the atmosphere. This is the case wherever vapors can escape and come into contact with the ambient air, for example in the manufacture of paints, varnishes, fragrances and foodstuffs. This also includes dust mixtures.<\/p>\n

A distinction is made between three ATEX zones for potentially explosive atmospheres consisting of a mixture of air with flammable substances in the form of gas, vapor or mist. The operator is responsible for classifying the production or processing facility into these zones. The examples in our diagram have been tried and tested by our customers in the field of agitator technology:<\/p>\n
