Impellers

Choosing the right impeller is of crucial importance for the best stirring result. Depending on the viscosity of the material to be mixed and the mixing task (homogenizing, suspending, dispersing liquid-liquid, dispersing liquid-gas, heat transfer or solids mixing), certain impellers offer better properties than others.

In addition to our product portfolio made of high-quality stainless steel, we would be happy to advise you on which impeller is right for your application. Of course, we also adapt to your individual wishes.

Overview

eco-Disc

Hollow body impellers ensure efficient but gentle mixing with minimal shearing even at low speeds. As slow runner, they are therefore ideal for sensitive mixes. They generate a laminar flow with axial conveying behavior.

Helical ribbon impeller

The helical agitator conveys axially with laminar mixing properties. It is ideal for homogenizing highly viscous substances. As an impeller that moves around the wall, the helical ribbon impeller is also used for the heat transfer process.

Pitched blade turbine

The pitched blade turbine conveys axially (already slightly radially) with turbulent conveying properties. It is also suitable for highly viscous substances and is used for homogenizing, dispersing and suspending.

Propeller

The propeller is a high-speed axial impeller with turbulent conveying properties, which is often used with low-viscosity media. It is particularly suitable for homogenising and suspending.

Dissolver disc

The dissolver disc is an impeller with strong shearing forces. It is therefore particularly suitable for emulsifying and dispersing.

Lenart disc

The Lenart disc has a radial and axial flow profile. It conveys laminar and turbulent. It produces a distinct trumpet. The viscosity range in which the Lenart disc is useful is large. It has a relatively high peripheral speed.

Disc stirrer

The disc stirrer is a radially conveying impeller with strong shearing forces, especially in the area of the direct outlet jet. In practice, it is often used for gassing, but it is also used for emulsification.
