Zkratka ATEX je odvozena z francouzsk\u00e9ho term\u00ednu pro prost\u0159ed\u00ed s nebezpe\u010d\u00edm v\u00fdbuchu (Atmosph\u00e8res Explosibles). P\u0159edpisy ATEX jsou stanoveny ve sm\u011brnici EU 2014\/34\/EU, kter\u00e1 plat\u00ed od roku 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Prost\u0159ed\u00ed je ohro\u017eeno v\u00fdbuchem, pokud se v atmosf\u00e9\u0159e m\u016f\u017ee vytvo\u0159it potenci\u00e1ln\u011b v\u00fdbu\u0161n\u00e1 sm\u011bs plyn\u016f. K tomu doch\u00e1z\u00ed v\u0161ude tam, kde mohou unikat p\u00e1ry a p\u0159ich\u00e1zet do styku s okoln\u00edm vzduchem, nap\u0159\u00edklad p\u0159i v\u00fdrob\u011b barev, lak\u016f, vonn\u00fdch l\u00e1tek a potravin. P\u0159\u00edslu\u0161n\u00e9 informace zahrnuj\u00ed nap\u0159\u00edklad teplotu, rozli\u0161en\u00ed mezi plynem a prachem, mezi elektrick\u00fdmi a neelektrick\u00fdmi za\u0159\u00edzen\u00edmi atd. V\u00fdsledkem jednotliv\u00fdch \u010d\u00edsel a p\u00edsmen certifik\u00e1tu je kl\u00ed\u010d, kter\u00fd p\u0159esn\u011b definuje povolen\u00e9 pracovn\u00ed prost\u0159ed\u00ed. Pro r\u016fzn\u00e9 podm\u00ednky proto existuj\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e9 certifik\u00e1ty.
